Do you have a good Bible reading plan?

I have recently started using the YouVersion Bible app on my new (work) Android phone, and I must say that it makes the same app on my iPhone (which I’ve been using for years) look like a toy, by comparison. Each morning on my way to work, I have set the phone to read my Bible to me. It has been great. I’m on day 443 (not a typo) of my reading plan (started around new years 2010), and look to finish the plan by my oldest son’s third birthday in May.

No real point to this post, other than the fact that I am so thankful for the folks at LifeChurch.tv for developing what is the most revolutionary advancement to the spread of God’s word since the printing press.

What plan do you use to read the Bible?

(I’ll be back to on-topic rants and stories about raising support in the coming weeks, after we’ve found a new place to live. In the meantime, these snippets will have to do.)

I use that app too, and I love it! But I didn’t know it could read to me. That’s pretty cool. Need to check that out.

In the ESV translation, there’s an option to have the app read from the bible to you. It’s pretty great.
