Here at ATB, we have a tradition that spans the months of highlighting a missionary on Fridays to give them a boost.
Today I have the privilege of turning your attention to Lindsey Hendrix. We crossed paths in Sweden on a couple of different occasions, and I can testify that she is legit. We also spent a summer in Santa Cruz, CA, and Jacqueline and her lead a Bible Study together.

It was probably when I offered to drop by her house with a cowboy hat that she figured out something was up. But to be honest, it was probably earlier than that.
The one thing that has surprised me in making the transition from vocational ministry to “secular” work has been how easy it is to stand out from the crowd in terms of being a good employee. I came up with a 3-step process to guarantee that you end up in the top 10 percent.
When I left off from telling the story, I had established LB (my 2.5-year-old) as having gotten the attention of everybody in the room. Soon afterwards, Corey (our pastor) called us forward to officially take our membership vows.
Everything seems more authoritative when an expressive man with dreadlocks says it.

Pray.
Meditate.
All of that of course is spraying cologne on a corpse. Or you could choose to ignore it, as if something don’t stink.
